Imphal, July 07 2022: Free Progress Academy (Imphal East), Madhumati Govt High School (Bishnupur), Wangoi High School (Imphal West) and Yairipok High School (Thoubal) registered easy wins in the State Subroto Mukerjee Tournament for U-17 girls on Thursday.

Free Progress Academy (Imphal East) started the day with a 9-0 thrashing of Shiroy High School (Ukhrul).

Th Reshma grabbed a hat-trick while Anju and L Lamnganbi scored two goals apiece, with K Mangpineng and L hiring chipping in with one goal each for the Free Progress Academy team.

Madhumati Govt High School (Bishnupur) too re corded the same margin victory (9-0) against Eklavya Model Residential School (Kangpokpi).

I Priyadashini led the rout with four goals, O Bibita and L Bijeiya each netted a double and O Retika contributed one goal in their side's huge win.

The third match saw Wangoi High School (Imphal West) inflict a massive 18-0 defeat on Don Bosco High School (Tamenglong).

Hoineihat and L Menaka shone for their team by scoring five goals each as M Nadeshori did her bit with a treble.

Kimte Langel and Th Remi claimed two goals each and T Thoibisana added one goal.

Yairipok High School (Thoubal) rounded off the day with a 2-0 success against RK Sanatombi Vidyalaya (Jiribam).

Jennifer and Malsawmkim were the scorers for the winning side.
