Futsal: NEROCA, CFA cruise; MIUFC, BFA playout 5-5 draw

Imphal, November 06 2023: NEROCA FC and Classic FA emerged the victors as MIUFC and Balananda FA ended their game in a 5-5 stalemate in Monday's fixtures of the 3rd Inter Club Futsal Tournament 2023-23 .

NEROCA FC carved out a 5-4 win over Poloi FC with as both Gangmei Lanjonlung (3, 10) and Lairenjam Sushil (20, 37) scored a brace, with Nameirakpam Deepak (31) contributing a goal in their thrilling triumph against Poloi FC, who scored through Md Nawaz Sharif (14), Md Jayet (15), S Sajaan Khan (21) and Bikramjit (35).Classic FA beat Sang-gai Football School 3 1 courtesy of a double from Ganningam Malangmei (20, 40) and N Renedy Singh (6).SFS got their consolation goal through Paringanba (5).In an action-packed match, MIUFC and Balananda FA played out a 5-5 draw.

MIUFC scored all their goals inside 24 minutes with a treble from T Ra-bichandra (3, 6, 9) and a goal each from Gunajit (15) and Md Fazal (24), while Balananda FA clawed their way back into the game for the eventual 5-5 result through Amom Krish (29, 30, 34) and L Rajesh (33) and T Ashif (35) .
