AR to host DGAR U-19 Hockey Tournament

Imphal, December 05 2024: Assam Rifles, in co ordination with Manipur Hockey Association (MHA), will host the inaugural DGAR Under-19 Hockey Tournament for both boys and girls at Khuman Lampak Stadium from December 7 to 15, 2024 .

The tournament will feature six men s teams and five women's teams, providing a valuable platform for emerging hockey talent to showcase and refine their skills.

Matches will be held at the prestigious Khuman Lampak Stadium, and the event will serve as an opportunity for the MHA to identify and nurture potential players for future national and international competitions.

Senior Officials from Assam Rifles and the MHA anticipate impressive performances from the participants.

The tournament is expected to foster spirit of healthy competition and further promote Hockey in Manipur, according to an IGAR (S) press release.
