Easy wins for SHADOW, TRAU, THAU, NCA in MNCA Boys' U-14 Tournament

Imphal, February 04 2025: SHADOW, TRAU, THAU and NCA all enjoyed an easy day in Tuesday's fix -tures of the 4th MNCA Boys U-14 Tournament 2024-25 .

An all-round performance powered SHADOW to a massive 334-run win over RNEF at SEDOC Ground, Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

Electing to bat, SHADOW posted a formidable total of 355/3, powered by Kh Devis (107), Sagatpam Telheiba (65), Arubam Goshan (56 not out), Thoudam Lanchenba (30), and Chinglemba (20 not out) .

In reply, SHADOW'S bowlers dismantled RNEF for just 21 runs in 9.2 overs, with Sagatpam Telheiba leading the charge with an outstanding 7-wicket haul, while Arubam Goshan supported with 2 wickets in the comprehensive victory.

TRAU, on the other hand, thrashed RULE by 259 runs at Khudeiband Lampak, Taothong (Lamshang).

After being asked to bat, TRAU posted an imposing 321/5, with Tyrus Chabungbam contributing a blistering 109, Potsangbam Jeet scoring an unbeaten 104, and Brian Thoidingjam making 21 not out.

RULE's response was meek, as they were bowled out for just 62 in 24.3 overs.

Keisham Yaikhomba spearheaded the attack with 4 wickets, while Arubam Rainson took 2 wickets, and Ringku Moirangthem, Khundrakpam Silheiba Mangang, Brian Thoiding-jam, and Treeny Arubam each claimed 1 wicket.

THAU comfortably defeated LCC by 7 wickets at PTRC Ground, Patsoi Part-IV .

THAU restricted LCC to 81 runs in 19.2 overs and chased down the target in 13.5 overs, losing just 3 wickets.

Leevasky Thongbam and Khundrakpam Bidyananda were the key bowlers, claiming 5 and 4 wickets, respectively.

In the chase, Sagolsem Heiba top-scored with 21, and Leevasky Thongbam remained unbeaten on 10, guiding THAU to a straightforward victory.

At Lairenjam Public Ground, NCA triumphed over SDO by 5 wickets.

NCA restricted SDO to 84/8 and successfully chased down the target in 12.5 overs.
