Imphal, October 29 2016: SAI RC, Takyel made an impressive start on the opening day of the State level weightlifting championship (19th sub-junior, 20th junior and 21st senior) organised by Manipur Weightlifting Association at SAI SAG, Khuman Lampak today.

SAI RC have claimed eight gold medals today while KPCC and ACWA came close to SAI RC with two gold, one each of silver and bronze medals respectively.

The inaugural session of the championship was attended by president of Manipur Weightlifting Association Kh Lokendra, VP of MOA GA Ibopishak, in-charge of SAI-SAG, Khuman Lampak, L Ibomcha as the dignitaries.
