Imphal, July 29 2018: Continuing with the efforts to promote sports in the region, Tulihal Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a friendly Volleyball Match for the youth at Mayang Imphal Company Operating Base, Imphal West District on 29 July 2018 .

The match was played between the Mayang Imphal, Khuman Youth Association team and troops of the Mayang Imphal Company Operating Base.

The aim of this event was to build good rapport and create awareness among the youths regarding the upcoming Army recruitment rally in October.

The events witnessed a large gathering to motivate both the teams.

The youth appreciated the effort shown by Assam Rifles to promote sports.
