Imphal, December 28 2016: ESC eked out a thrilling 4-3 victory over Nambul Mapan-A today in the ongoing 4th State level Polo tournament 2016 organised by Nongchup Pana Sagol Kangjei Lup (NPSKL) at Langjing Achouba Sports complex.

The two teams were tied 3-3 at the end of normal time.

ESC struck the winner in the extra chukker.

A Naoton scored a goal each in the first and second chukker while N Prabin struck one in the fourth chukker for ESC.

N Somorjit struck one in the first chukker while M Sanjoy scored a goal each in the second and third chukker for Nambul Mapan-A .

N Naoton of ESC slammed home the winner in the extra chukker.

In another encounter, NPSKL-A thrashed KRYPHSA-B 18-1 .

In the one-sided match, L Atangba, N Sekendro scored one goal each while P Ojit struck twice for NPSKL-A in the first chukker.

L Atangba took charge to score four goals in the second chukker while P Ojit and Kokeshwar took turn to net a goal each in the second chukker.

In the third chukker, P Ojit and L Atangba scored two goals each while Kh Sanjit and Kokeshwar contributed one goal each to the account of NPSKL-A.Th Kaoba and L Atangba took charge to score a goal each in the last chukker to wrap the match in style.

The consolation for KRYPHSA-B came from Omesh in the second chukker.

Yesterday, MPSC-A drubbed Thangmeiband 9-0 while LHSPRT beat KMMRS-A by a margin of five goals to three.
