Ailing footballer Ramananda helped

Members of "Kakching High School 1984 Matric Batch" today extended monetary assistance of Rs 10,800 to State footballer Ningthoujam Ramananda who is in critical condition and undergoing treatment at Raj Medicity due to kidney failure.
The monetary assistance was donated by the group through anchor of Diamond Radio, James Heikrujam at the latter's office.
"We took pride in Ramananda while he was doing well and playing for the State and it is our responsibility to help him during such a difficult time," said the president of the group, M Munal.
The contribution, though "small", was made to help the player cope with medical expenses, he said while appealing others to join supporting the footballer in any possible form.
