Imphal, October 27 2019: The 15th Senior Men, Junior Boys, Sub Junior Boys; the 13th Senior Women, Junior Girls, Sub Junior Girls and 2nd U-15 Boys and Girls State Wrestling Championship-2019 organised by Manipur Wrestling Association at Multipurpose Hall, Khuman Lampak concluded today.

The two day event was brought to a close today in the presence of Rajya Sabha MP, Ksh Bhabananda; Bijoy Koijam, former MLA, L Ibomcha Singh, Dronacharya Awardee, Centre In Charge, SAI-SAG Khuman Lampak as dignitaries who also feted the participants.

U-15 boys Events
Sahid Naoshad bagged the 68 kg free style gold for U-15 boys beating N Gourab while Goutam win the greco roman gold of the same weight category without any contest.

E Lenin Singh on the other hand bagged the 75 kg free style gold.

E Hemba bagged the U-15 boys 41 kg free style gold beating N Borish.

N Langamba of NSA bagged the 52 kg free style gold beating T Johnson of SAI in the final while SAI's L Thanil and Menjor were able to win the bronze medal.

SAI's Lenjapao Khongsai win the 52 kg greco roman gold medal beating S Yaikhomba of NSA in the final while AK Fijifilm won the 62 kg free style gold.

SAI's N Michael won the 62 kg greco roman gold beating his compatriot C Joybison in the final while Akash of NSA finished third to win the bronze medal.

38 kg free style gold medal went to N Brucelee who overcame Kh Bikash of SAI in the final while Th Dimple of SAI and N Napolean of NSA finished third for the bronze medals.

U-17 Boys
L Suraj bagged the 55 kg greco roman gold for the U-17 boys after beating M Bikash in the final today while Kh Rohit clinched the free style gold medal without breaking a sweat.

Kh Nilbir Singh and N Yaiphaba were able to lay their hands on the 60 kg greco roman and free style gold medals respectively while Thomas Laishram managed the 65 kg greco roman gold beating Y Victor in the final.

Ng Lokendra ad L Johnson bagged the gold medal in the 65 kg and 80 kg free style event respectively while Samson won the 71 kg greco roman gold.

U-15 Girls
N Jenita Devi of SAI defeated her compatriot Th Babyrose Devi in the 50 kg U-15 girls free style to win a gold medal.

Luwang Chanu Lembu beat Luwang Chanu Sophia in an all NSA final match to win 42 kg free style gold while Kh Wahida and Chesam Rabiya finished third to win bronze medals.

N Chaoba Devi added another gold medal to SAI's tally winning in the 46 kg free style event against C Rebica of RCC while NSA's N Chaoba Chanu and Th Lingjenthoibi claimed the bronze medals.

Ephan Tauyakhen win the 54 kg free style event gold while E Monorama was able to clinch the silver medal.

Kh Sapana and P Naobi Devi won the gold and the silver medal in the 62 kg free style event.

Y Minakshi Devi of NSA bagged the 39 kg free style gold beating Menaka Mongjam in the final today while third placed N Puja and B Roshni claimed the bronze medals.

Around 100 wrestlers took part in this championship.
