UBSA beats ZFC in Chittamani Winners' Cup

Imphal, October 26 2012: UBSA, Kakching beat ZFC, CCpur by a solitary goal in today's match of the ongoing 17th M Chittamani Singh Memorial Winners' Cup, 2012 organised by Hunphun Shaiza Youth Society.

The tournament is being held in Home and Away system.

Today's match between UBSA and ZFC was played at Kha Manipur College Ground as the home ground of UBSA.

The match began with high notes as both teams played the match with equal skills and tactics.

No team were able to score a single goal against one another in the first half.

In the second half too, both teams found it tough to get behind the defence line of their rival teams.

However, in the 82nd minute, UBSA got it chance to sneak behind the defence line of ZFC and the opportunity was successfully converted into the winning goal of UBSA by its player Ngamneiril.

On the other hand, ZFC could not equalise the score till the end of the match.

As a result they lost the match.

In another match, KLASA, Keinou suffered loss against YOSC, Khurai by a solitary goal in their own home ground at Bishnupur Mini Stadium.

The solitary goal of YOSC was scored by L Bharat in the 18th minute of the match.

Meanwhile, FC Khanglai, Sadar Hills held DM RAO, Awang Sekmai in a 1-1 draw in a match played at Saikul Block Ground as the home Ground of FC Khanglai.

N Bikramjit of DM RAO drew the first blood in the 47th minute of the match.

On the other hand, the equaliser of FC Khanglai was scored in the 72nd minute of the match by Ngamneinlen Zou.

In another match played at Heirok Kangjeibung as the home ground of City Club, Heirok, YarKhok United Football Club, Ukhrul was held in a 1-1 draw by City Club.

Reisangmikhodang scored the goal of Yarkhok United FC in the 45th minute and the equaliser of City Club was scored by Giten in the 63rd minute of the match.
