KIYC humble Citizen Club on day-I

Imphal, July 25 2014 : Maharaja Ghanendrajit Memorial Super Division Football League kicked off from today at Artficial Turf Ground, Khuman Lampak.

The tournament is being organized by Imphal East District Football Association. KIYC Kshetri Iril Mapal and Citizen Club, Soibam Leikai played in the opening match of the tournament.

However, KIYC won the match over Citizen Club by 4-3 goals.

.MRomi Meitei of KIYC opened the score account of his team by netting 1 goal in the very first 4th minute of the match.

He again added another match winning goal in the 74th minute.

Team mates Y.Raj and Md.Rohit Husain contributed 1 goal each in the 29th and 75th minute and thus claimed the winner's title of the match.

Despite losing the match to KIYC, Sheikh Azhar Chisty of Citizen Club managed to score 2 goals in the 76th and 80th minute.

Later on, team mate M.Chinglemba added another goal in the 78th minute.
