Imphal, July 25 2013: RAU, Lairikyengbam Leikai launched their campaign in the Moirangthem Ibobi Singh Memorial Division I Football League Tournament on a winning note as M Bikash netted the competition's first hattrick in a 7-0 rout of SSC, Porompat at Khuman Lampak Main Stadium today.

Only five minutes into the opening match, Th deban provided the RAU breakthrough.

Even though it took S sumneison to double the advantage 12 minutes into the second half, Bikash exhibited his finishing prowess by ruffling the Porompat net in the 59th, 61st and fourth minute of injury time in the 80 minute game.

In between Bikash's strikes, Helpson helped bulge the team score by scoring in the 71st and 72nd minutes.

The opening match saw four RAU and one SSC player receive yellow card bookings.

Opening ceremony of the league tournament organised by Imphal East District Football Association was held with Andro AC MLA Th Shyamkumar, IEDFA president Kh Mohori Singh and AMFA secretary L Ranjit Roy as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
