NSU Soccer Tournament LKCC-A emerge champions

Imphal, June 25 2016 : LKCC-A, Langthabal emerged the champions of the ongoing 1st State Level Open Soccer Tournament, organised by the Narankonjin Sporting Union (NSU), today at LP School Ground, Narankonjin.

In today's final match LKCC-A handed a crushing 5-0 defeat to NSU, Narankonjin.

The winning goals of LKCC-A were scored by Asingei (37th, 38th), Gaidingam (22nd), Akham (40th) and Pouchalei (50th) .

Deepak of NSU was cautioned for unsporting behaviour during the match.

Champions LKCC-A were awarded a cash prize of Rs 15,000 and runners up NSU walked home with a cash prize of Rs 10,000 .

The best disciplined team award went to LKCC-B. G Asingei and Pouchalei of both LKCC-A clinched the best player and best scorer title respectively.

The closing ceremony was graced by Langthabal AC MLA Karam Shyam Singh, Veterinary FA Thounaojam Jadumani, Food Safety Administration designated officer Thounaojam Sunilkumar, LSS captain Labuktongbam Sanathoi Sharma as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
