Imphal, October 24 2019: AR Polo team and Manipur Police Sports Club - A (MPSC-A) registered convincing wins to move into the next round of the ongoing 35th N Hazari and Dr N Tombi Singh State Polo Tournament organised by Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung today.

In the first match of the day, AR Polo team displayed towering performances against Hundred Able Polo Club, Langjing Achouba right from the beginning to seal a comfortable 17-5 win and sail through to next round.

AR Polo team won the first chukker 5-1, the second chukker by 4-0 goals.

However, Hundred Able Polo Club pressed hard on its gear and manage to score the same 3-3 goal against AR Polo team in the third chukker.

But, the fourth chukker belonged to AR Polo team as it scored 5 goals as against one goal of Hundred Able Polo Club.

In the second match, MPSC-A had an easy 18-0 win over Ibudhou Marjing Polo Club, Heingang.

MPSC-A scored 4 goals in the first chukker, 5 goals in the second chukker, 6 goals in the third chukker and 3 goals in the fourth chukker.

MPSC-B will meet K&MM Riding School - D in tomorrow's first match while Samurou Polo Club - B will play CRPF Polo team in the second match.
