YWC, Langthabal earned their second victory in the ongoing 3rd Heibok Trophy T-20 Cricket Tournament by beating PTCC, Patsoi by 69 runs at Langthabal Public Ground today while Al-Ameen kicked off their league campaign with a 44 run victory against ESU, Wangkhei.
In the Group A league match, YWC won the toss and set PTCC a target of 140 runs for all wickets down in their quota of 20 overs after electing to bat first.

In YWC's batting, Prafullomani made the most of the runs with 40 runs in his name off 32 balls while Bikramjit and Bishwas made significant contributions of 24 and 22 runs to ensure their team post 139 total.
Sohail and Kenjit took centre stage in PTCC bowling as they picked up three wickets apiece to give YWC batsmen a tough experience on the crease.
Sadananda of the same team also managed two wickets in his spell of 4 overs.
In reply, PTCC made a good start with Hemchand adding up 32 runs off 29 balls but the remaining order fell cheaply as Priyokumar wreaked havoc by removing 4 wickets alone.

Priyokumar was eventually named man of the match.
