Thokchom Kishan Singh among players named for Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021-22

Imphal, October 22 2021: The Manipur Cricket Association has announced names, of players who will represent Manipur at the Senior Men's Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021-22 to be held at Vijaywada, Andhra Pradesh from October 27 .

The players as listed by the Manipur Cricket Association and their parent clubs/units are:
Muhammad Al Bashid (Al-Ameen), Laiphan-gbam Sanatomba Roy (Blue Hawk), Sunil Salam (Blue Hawk), Bonny Chingangbam (CHAMP), Nitesh Sedai (CHAMP), Lamabam Ajay (CRAU), Kabrambam Homendro (CYCLONE), L Kishan Singha (CYCLONE), Narsingh Yadav (CYCLONE), Chongtham Mehul Shreth (ESU), Meitankeisha-ngbam Langlonyamba (MO- DEL), Somorjit Salam (MO-DEL), Yumnam Karnajit (MODEL), Bishworjit Singh Konthoujam (PTRC), Raj Kumar Rex Singh (PTRC), Ngariyanbam Johnson (PTRC), Chabungbam Ishworjit (RCT), Sagatpam Jayanta (REYS), Kangabam Priyojit Singh (TRAU) and Thokchom Kishan (YWC-Langthabal).

Incidentally, Thokchom Kishan is also a staffer of The Sangai Express.

The association also named 5 reserve players viz- L Ronald (CYCLONE), Md Sultan Karim (CHAMP), Ng Jameson (PTRC), P Prafullomani (TRAU) and Thomas Moirangthem (CHAMP) .
