N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo : Paradise Polo Club, Kangleipak Polo Star win to move into last 16

Paradise Polo Club thrashed Khuman Polo Club by 10-3 goals while Kangleipak Polo Stars sealed a hard fought 4-3 victory against Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club to move into the last 16 round of the ongoing 35th N Hazari and Dr N Tombi State Polo Tournament organised by Manipur Horse Riding and Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung.
In the 5th match of the tournament, Paradise Polo Club and Khuman Polo Club were on the same page in the first chukker with the two sides scoring a goal each but the first team went well ahead with 5 more goals in the second chukker before adding two goal each in the third and the fourth chukker.

N Philip topscored for the winning side as he opened up the scoring in the first chukker before grabbing two more goals in the second chukker.
He also added a goal each in the third and the last chukker to finish with 5 goals in his name.
K Samananda who scored thrice in the second chukker too found the target twice, one each in the third and the last chukker to add 5 goals to his teams tally.
L Roshan scored the opener for Khuman Polo Club in the 1st chukker while Kh Naobi and Kh Santikumar added a goal each respectively in the third and the fourth chukker to make it 3-10 at the end.
Meanwhile the second match of the day saw a dreary run from Kangleipak Polo Star and Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club in the beginning but the two teams were locked at 3-3 at the end of fourth chukker seeking for the additional chukker to decide the winners.
After the two sides drew nil in the first chukker, Prakash Bandhari scored to help Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club to take a 1-0 lead till the end of second chukker.
O Inaoton helped Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club double the lead in the third chukker with a goal but Kh Meiraba of Kangleipak Polo Star opened up his account in this chukker to make it 1-2 at the end of the third chukker.
M Bitam of Thangmeiband Youth Polo Club managed to score soon after the beginning of the fourth chukker to help his team maintain the two goal cushion but Kh Meiraba then set up the recovery path scoring twice within two minutes and made it 3-3 before his team mate T Geetchandra found the winner lately in the last minute of the additional chukker.
K&MM Riding School -A will meet ESCA in the tomorrow's first match while Samurou Polo Club-A will take on KRYPHSA-A in the second match.
