MMTA honors "Mother of the Mountaineering" Anshu Jamshenpa

Imphal, June 21 2011: Manipur Mountaineering and Trekking Association organized a reception at Imphal Hotel's Banquet hall in the honor of Anshu Jamshenpa, Guinness Book of World Record Holder, better known as Mother of the Mountaineering, Tine Mina and Team Leader K.Romeo.

For everyone's record, Anshu Jamshenpa has scaled Mt.

Everest twice in a single season.

D.D.Thaisii Minister Youth Affairs and Sports, Okram ongbi Landhoni MLA, Ak.

Meerabai Chairperson Manipur Women Co-operative Society, and Dr..LSurjit President MMTA were the Chief Guest, President, and Guest of Honor of the felicitation function respectively.
