Imphal, July 20 2023: Two referees from Manipur Amateur Karate Do Association, Kyoshi Mutum Bankim Singh and Renshi Soibam Bindeshori Chanu have been selected to officiate in the 19th Asian Senior Karate Championship 2023 .

The Championship will be held at the Malacca International Trade Centre Ayer Keroh (MITC) Indoor Sports Hall, Malacca (Maleka), Malaysia from July 21 to 23 under the aegis of the Asian Karate Do Federation (AKF) .

The Championship will be hosted by the Meghalayan Karate Federation known as Persekutuan Karate Malaysia.

Both the referees have cleared the examination on the new competition rules held in January.
