Two state jukodas bag medals at Bangkok Asian c'ship

Imphal, July 20 2022: Two more state jukodas won medals for India on the penultimate day of the Asian Cadet & Junior Judo Cham pionship 2022 held at Bangkok, Thailand.

Leishangthem Nu ngsh it hoi Chanu bagged a silver medal while fellow Huidrom Ma touleibi Devi took a bronze in th eir respective events on Wednesday.

Leishangthem Nungshithoi finished second in the junior girls' 57kg category for her silver medal and Huidrom Matouleibi claimed her bronze in the junior girls' -52kg cartegory.

Earlier on Tuesday.

Linthoi Chanambam won a gold medal to open India's medal account.

Linthoi claim ed the top podium honours in the 63kg category of th e cadet event.

Notably, eight state judokas are among the India team competing in the Bangkok event.
