Imphal, March 20: YSWA, Utlou overwhelmed WSA, Ukhrul 3-1 to advance into the semi final round of the 27th Shirui Lily Cup 2008 football tournament being held at TNL ground, Ukhrul.

In a quarter final match played today, the Utlou side rallied from a goal down to emerge winners with the convincing scoreline on goals from Ajit Kumar (68th), Somokanta (80th) and Sushil (92nd).Earlier, WSA took the lead only six minutes into the game through Khararapam.

Ukhrul outfits NCYWO and URACU both failed to report to the day's other match.

The next match for the lower tier teams to be played on March 24 will feature UPAA, Imphal East against VYC, Ukhrul at 12 noon as CFC, Chandel face DM Rao, Sekmai at 2 pm.
