Naeem's knock of 75 helps FORCE beat YUCC

Imphal, December 19 2024: Riding on Naeem's massive 75 runs, FORCE Kshetrigao beat YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel by 1 wicket in today's league match of the 4th MNCA Superplate Tournament at Moijing Public Ground, Thoubal.

In another league match at Model Higher Secondary Ground, WYC Thoubal Wangkhem beat PSC Khuyathong by 128 runs.

FORCE vs YUCC
At Moijing Public Ground Thoubal, YUCC Kwakeithel Moirangpurel elected to face the ball first to score a total of 194 runs for 9 wickets in 35 overs.

W Lenin Singh's 67 (76) and Laishram Bidyashwor's 41 (50) helped YUCC reach 194 .

FORCE'S Tashib Alam took wickets while teammates, Arbin Khundrakpam, Mohammad Islauddin and Sarfaraz took one wicket each.

FORCE'S chase for the target kicked off with a stellar performance from Naeem, who scored 75 runs from 90 balls.

Md Kabir Ahmed scored 22 runs from 38 balls.

Tashib Alam (19), Najir Ali (18) and Shamirul Haque (17) helped FORCE amass 195 for 9 in 34.4 overs to beat YUCC by 1 wicket.

WYC vs PSC
WYC Thoubal won the toss and opted to bat first to score a massive 237 runs for 8 wickets in 35 overs.

PSC Khuyathong managed to score only 109 runs for 10 wickets in 28 overs.

For WYC, Mangi Sharma Gotimayum scored 49 runs from 25 balls and remained not out.

Wangkhem Shamungou Singh scored 40 from 41 balls.

S Herokumar Singh (28), Wangkhem Laksmon Singh (28), Netrajit Singh Okram (18), Laishram Rajesh (18), Hijam Prakash Singh (18) and H Biteshwor Singh (12) helped WYC amass 237 runs in 35 overs.

Chungkham Kenny Singh took 4 WYC wickets.

Ibungomacha Hijam took 2 wickets.

Laishram Devwart Singh and Tongbram Sagar Singh took one wicket each.
