Imphal, May 19 2025: AKSDO, Khangabok defeated THAU, Thangmeiband by 8 wickets to wrest the title of the 3rd Women's U-19 One Day Trophy 2024-25 on Monday.

In the summit clash at THAU Ground, Thangmeiband, THAU managed a paltry score of 107 in 29.2 overs after electing to bat first.

Creety Moirangthem (33 runs of 49 balls) top scored for the team as the AKSDO bowlers spearheaded by Thokchom Langlen Chanu (three wickets), Rabina Khundrakpam and Bijiya Khundrakpam (two apiece), Alish Thokchom and Lucyrani Khundrakpam (one each) claimed wickets at regular intervals.

In reply, AKSDO's Langlen Ningthoujam (33 of 29 not out), Diana Moirangthem (22 of 38), Bijiya Khundrakpam (22 of 40) and captain & wicketkeeper Taniya Ningthoujam (16 of 24 not out) ensured the victory in 21.4 overs.

The closing function was attended by MNCA vice president Lairenjam Geetranjan Singh, treasurer Chongtham Nishikanta Singh, joint secretary Syed Sultan Ahmed, Apex Council executive Khangemgbam Kennedy Singh, ICA representative Sagatpam Jayanta Singh, CRAU secretary Paonam Hemanta Singh and CRAU Cricket Committee chairman L Helen Singh.

The dignitaries presented the winners' trophy and cash prize of Rs 40,000 to AKS-DO, trophy and cash prize of Rs 25,000 to runners-up THAU, Player of the Match trophy and Rs 1000 to Bijiya Khundrakpam of AKSDO (two wickets and 22 runs), Highest Wicket Taker trophy and Rs 1500 to Rahamatun Khanam of SHADOW ( 17 wickets in six innings) and Highest Run Scorer trophy and Rs 1500 along with Player of the Series trophy and Rs 2500 to Kebriya Sapam of SHADOW (276 runs and six wickets in six innings) .
