Imphal, November 18 2017: 21 members of Kakching Runners and 4 selected athletes have reached Delhi for the Great Airtd Delhi Half Marathon on November 19 (Sunday).

All the 25 members will be participating in the event on Sunday and have high hope of winning the event, the team leader said.

Of the total 25 runners, 4 were selected earlier through a district level half marathon com? petition- "Hiroshima Atom Bomb Day" held ofl August 6 .

The 4 selected athletes comprise of two boys, namely, P Premkumar Sharma; Pukhrambam Avinash Singh and two girls- Ksb Romika Devi and Ksh Sonam Devi.

The selected athletes were under strict guidance and training under P Subhas Singh, national Tritholon Champion.

All the expenses of the 4 selected are bore by Kakching Runners, our correspondent reports.
