Tbl Kabaddi : PYDC, SWC emerge junior champions

Thoubal, January 17 2021: PYDC, Khangabok and SWC, Lamding Cherapur were respectively crowned boys and girls' champions of the Thoubal District Level Junior Kabaddi Championship 2021 organised by Atoukhong Maning Leikai Development & Social Culture Association (AMDASCAM) under the aegis of Thoubal District Kabaddi Association (TDKA) since January 15 .

In the boys' final match of the championship held at AMDASCAM playground, PYDC Khangabok beat hosts AMDASCAM 37-30 to win the title.

Meanwhile in the girls final, SWC downed SMPCCL, Haoreibi Makha Leikai 27-23 to earn the top honour.

The valedictory function of the Kabaddi Championship was graced by MLA of Wabagai AC, Md Fajur Rahim; MLA of Lilong Kendra, Y Antas Khan and Contractor, Md Abdul Salam @ Mamu as dignitaries who also feted the winners and runners up teams apart from individual prize winners.
