The opening match saw both ICSA and KRYPHSA making a good and cautious start weaving a series of fine runs although defence lines on both ends did well to intercept them.
Eventually both sides had to enter into the break with no goals being scored as they could not translate their efforts into goal.
The game however took a dramatic turn as KRYPHSA loose ground in the second half and L Bijeiya handed ICSA an unexpected lead in the 51st minute.
KRYPHSA's loss looked imminent when L Shelia put ICSA in cruise control scoring the team's second in the 57th minute.
There was no looking back for the team since then and although KRYPHSA did hard to deny further scoring from relentless ICSA, L Bijeiya rose again lately to quickfire two goals (80', 80+2'), including a stoppage time goal to complete her treble and 4-0 rout of the Naoremthong side.
H Linthoi and N Khushi of KRYPHSA were yellow carded by the referee in the 73rd and the 79th minute of the match.
Elsewhere in the second match of the tournament, ESU, Wangkhei opened up the campaign with a 2-0 win against AMMA, Andro thanks to first half goals.
The game started with a bang as Kimnusang found the breakthrough when the match was only four minutes old while K Anju scored the second and the last goal of the match in the 22nd minute.
AMMA too got some opportunities to reduce the gap in the second half, however their efforts went close to the target or got parried away by ESU goalkeeper and eventually ESU went home with all three points.
Altogether 8 teams are taking part in the tournament and its matches will be held on weekends only.
YWC, Langthabal will take on WFA, Kakching in the next match tomorrow at 12.30 pm before Lenlai Club, Churachandpur meet PLL, latter at 2.30 pm .
