6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship DNH beat BIH 3-1, lift Div-B title

Dadra & Nagar Haveli Hockey Association (DNH) lifted the Division-B's champions trophy of the 6th Hockey India Sub-Junior Men's National Championship (B-Division), organised by the Hockey Manipur under the aegis of Hockey India, today at Hockey Ground, Khuman Lampak.
In today's Division-B final match, Dadra & Nagar Haveli Hockey Association (DNH) notched up an easy 3-1 victory against Hockey Bihar (BIH) .
Uttam Singh found a double in the 9th and 58th minute while Lokesh Vats scored in the 35th minute for DNH.
On the other hand, Turtan Minz scored the solitary goal of Hockey Bihar in the 23rd minute.

Earlier in the third place match, Hockey Bhopal (BHO) downed Chattisgarh (CHA) by a margin of 7 goals to four.
The winning goals of BHO were scored by Sourabh Pasine, Islah Nasir, Rashid Mohd, Zeeshan, Anzar Rehman, Faizan Uddin and Waseem Beg in the 18th, 19th, 21st, 30th, 40th, 51st and 61st minute respectively.
For CHA, a goal each from Khilesh Pandya, Arbaj Ali, Saurab Rigri and Rakesh Nishad in the 24th, 29th, 41st and 58th minute respectively gave them four goals.
In a Division-A Group-C match, Hockey Gangpur Odisha (GAN) blanked Madhya Pradesh Hockey Academy (MPA) by a margin of 5 goals to nil.
A double from Manip Kerketta (53rd, 64th) and goals from Nahas Barwa, Prajukt Nag and Cyril Lugun in the 28th, 50th and 59th minute gave five winning goals to GAN.
In another Group-C match, Delhi Hockey (DEL) thrashed Hockey Andra Pradesh (HAP) by a margin of 8 goals to one.
Vikash U (15th, 21st) and Amar Verma (50th, 64th) found a brace each while Saurabh Gupta (29th), Rohit (30), Pankaj (51st) and Paramjeet (56th) contributed a goal each for the winning team.
Gangadhar Reddy was the lone scorer of HAP in the 44th minute.
In a Group-D match, Hockey Jharkhand (THA) edged out Hockey Karnataka (KAR) 5-4 .
Denish Tete (5th, 41st), Joseph Kongari (2nd), Pawan Kerketta (9th) and Amardeep Samrat (55th) scored the winning goals of THA.
On the other side, KAR witnessed four goals from Subal Kerkatta (11th), Jorson Singh (14th), Deepak (28th) and John San Horo (35th) .
