Imphal, April 16 2025: AKSDO, Khangabok crushed YPHUC, Lalambung by 259 runs in an inconsequential Group A match of the ongoing 1st MNCA U-23 Women's One Day Trophy at Kongba Dhobi Lampak.

It was the third win for AKSDO and the result helped the team finish third in the league table below Group winners THAU and runners-up PTCC.

Meanwhile, YPHUC finished 5th in the 6th team league table on 2 points off a win.

The emphatic win came as Khundrakpam Bijiya blazed an unbeaten 107-ball 124 to steer AKSDO to a massive total of 306/2 in 35 overs after opting to bat first.

Khundrakpam Lucyrani then devastated chasing YPHUC line up and set up their collapse for a meagre total of 47 runs within 20.5 overs.

Bijiya and Moirangthem Daina gave AKSDO a solid start forging a huge 227-run first wicket partnership before Moirangthem Daina was caught and bowled by Charoibam Joyshree in the 26th over on 69 .

Bijiya then forged another 63-run partnership with Khundrakpam Olebia who was dismissed by Soubam Eriklembi for the second wicket as she was just one run away from making a half century off 33 balls.

Langlen was also unbeaten on 6 for AKSDO with Bijiya as the team closed out their innings at 306 .

Chasing the big total, YPHUC never looked they were in contention as wickets kept tumbling with Khundrakpam Rabina (2/5 in 4 overs) and M Daina (2/16 in 4 overs) inflicting early damage before Kh Lucrani ran through the middle and lower order batters to return with a fifer (5/8 in 3.5 overs) .

Only Irom Japani 25 off 52 was the double digit run getter for YPHUC in this innings that also saw Khundrakpam Bijiya chip in with a wicket.

Bijiya who struck a century and picked a wicket was adjudged player of the match.

Semi-Final Fixtures (on April 17)

FORCE vs PTCC at Kongba Dhobi Lampak .
