Imphal, January 15 2020: Both U-19 boys and girls sepak takraw teams of Manipur were crowned the sepak takraw champions at the 65th National School Games.

In the final matches of the discipline held in Andhra Pradesh under the aegis of School Games Federation of India, the State boys team got the better of Tamil Nadu in straight sets 21-17, 21-11 to win the top honour while girls team defeated Odisha 18-21, 21-7, 15-12 to emerge champions.

Earlier in the semi-finals, State boys team outlasted Odisha with a 17-21, 21-10, 15-13 comeback win while Manipur girls secured an easy 21-9, 21-7 win against Telangana.
