Imphal, October 13 2012: Axial Builders, Utopia overwhelmed Namkaolong Young Trainers 3-1 to claim the title of the 9th junior Football Knock-out Tournament at Lower Ground, Tamenglong on october 12 .

The eventual champions opened the scoring through Agunpou in the 16th minute which was neutralised by Khiusinang at the half-hour mark.

While Ak Keininglung regained the lead in the 42nd minute Meihipou slammed home the winner in the 56th minute.

Axial Builders were awarded Rs 10,000 and the rolling trophy while the runners-up had to be content with half the amount.

Both the cash prize and trophy were donated by K Hemandro in memory of his parents.

The champion team's Ak Keininglung was adjudged the tournament's best player and top scorer (8 goals) as Rampuibou and Meihipou bagged the best goalkeeper and best defender awards respectively.

The tournament organised by District sports Association, Tamenglong since September 26 was participated by 16 teams.
