9th Mr Khamba State Level Bodybuilding Championship : L Dinesh wins Mr Khamba title, Solimla Jajo takes women's Model Physique crown

Imphal, August 13 2022: L Dinesh of Bishnupur earned the Mr Khamba title as Solimla Jajo of Ukhrul claimed women's Model Physique title at the 9th Mr Khamba Inter State Level Bodybuilding Championship organised by All Manipur Body Builders Association in connection with Patriots' Day observation at INA Hall, Moirang today.

71 players from across 8 districts participated in the Junior, Senior, Master, Physically Challenged Bodybuilding; men's Physique and women's Model Physique contests dedicated to the martyrs of Manipur.

In the Senior Men's Bodybuilding contest, L Dinesh emerged on top to clinch the Mr Khamba title.

Wangkheirakpam Priyobarta of Imphal East settled for the second spot in the competition as Laishram Neta of Imphal West, Kiyam Dinesh of Thoubal and Loitongbam Philip Singh of Imphal West secured 3rd, 4th and 5th places respectively.

In the women's Model Physique event, Solimla Jajo who recently clinched a silver medal at the Asian Bodybuilding Championship held in Maldives, emerged on top as Zenika Naorem of Imphal West and Raj Kumari Neha Devi of Imphal East sealed the second and third spots.

Ukhrul's Khayingthei Luithui and Wonchui Luithui in the meantime finished 4th and 5th respectively.

In the women's bodybuilding contest, E Kavita Chanu of Imphal West and Karishma Chanu of Imphal East bagged first and second spots.

In the men's Physique competition.

Imphal East's Warshim Chesam claimed the title finishing ahead of Mangai Arambam of Imphal West (2nd), Sagolshem Shanjiv of Bishnupur (3rd), Naorem Fredy of Kakching (4th) and Laitonjam Gulshan of Imphal West (5th) .

Master Bodybuilding
Thokchom Boboi of Imphal West was adjudged best in the Masters' bodybuilding competition as Chingthang Nambam of Imphal West, Wahengbam Neta Chandra of Bishnupur, L Kiran of Imphal West and L Modhu of Imphal East finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.

Junior Bodybuilding
Kshetrimayum Niraj of Kakching claimed the Junior Bodybuilding crown finishing ahead of Thounaojam Marco of Imphal West (2nd), Karam Birjit of Bishnupur (3rd), Sarat Lunminthang Taothang of Tengnoupal (4th) and Thiyam Rohit Singh of Imphal East (5th) .
