3rd MCA Plate Tournament : TCMDC clinch 77 runs win over YAC

Imphal, March 13 2016: TCMDC defeated YAC by 77 runs in the ongoing 3rd MCA Plate Tournament, organised by the Manipur Cricket Association (MCA), today at Langthabal Cricket Stadium.

Batting first, TCMDC struck 200 runs with all men down in 40 overs.

Priyobarta scored 56 runs off 62 balls while Seitendra (40), Dhanashyam (26) and Tuljit (21) were the other main scorers of TCMDC.

Joychandra with three wick- ets was the only notable bowler for YAC.

Batting second, YAC went down fighting at 123 runs with all men down in the 32.3 overs.

Seitam (35), Somorjit (14), Rakesh (23) were the notable scorers of YAC.

Priyobarta, Dilipkumar and Babalu took two wickets each for YAC.

Priyobarta of TCMDC clinched the man of the match title.
