Imphal, December 11 2013: Manipur outplayed Karnataka by 7-1 in the U-17 girls hockey competition of the 57th National School Games, today at Ranchi.

Lal-leibi (3rd, 27th, 43rd, 50th), Lanchenbi (1st, 39th) and Ni-rupama (32nd) were the Mani- pur goal scorers.

Tomorrow, Manipur will play Delhi (QFs) .

Sports award
Directorate of Youth Affairs and Sports has informed awardees of the Incentive State Sports Award, 2006-2009 to collect the same within December 25 from DYAS, Khuman Lampak. State gymnasts
All Mani-pur Gymnastics Association has selected 22 players and five officials to represent the State in the 4th Dalip Singh Memorial North East Zone Gymnastics Championships (B&G) to be held on December 13 at Indoor Stadium, Khuman Lampak.

Inter club archery championship
The Inter Club Archery Championship for men organised by 40 Assam Rifles will be held on December 14 and 15 at Keithelmanbi.

The top 16-ranked archers in the State Archery Championship, 2013 for recurve, compound and Indian round would be eligible to participate in the said championship.

All archery clubs under Manipur Archery Association are invited for the competition as per the ranking of State Championship, 2013 .

Referees' test
The Annual Fitness Test and Grade Examination for all category of referees as well as fresh candidates of All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) would be held from third week of January 2014 .

All India Football Federation (AIFF) has appointed three State officials namely, Magho Singh, Kennedy Singh and Khamba Singh to officiate the I-League, 2013 to be held on December 21 at Kolkata, informed AMFA.
