NACO moves to next round of CC Meet qualifier

Imphal, December 10 2012: NACO, Nambul Mapal beat AVO, Kakching 4-1 today and entered into the next round of the 56th CC Meet Qualifying round being held at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.

All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) is organising the tournament.

Kh Naoba of NACO drew the first blood of the match in the 11th minute of the match.

Short of one goal, AVO tried their best to equalise the score but failed to do so in the first half and it ended 1-0 in favour of NACO.

However in the second half, AVO managed to equalised the score in the 54th minute through Ksh Indranath.

As the match progressed towards end, pressures were increasing on both teams to win the match.

Meanwhile, NACO players began mounting attacks, AVO players were seemed to be exhausted a bit and show declining in their performance and coordination.

Taking full advantage of the situation, NACO struck two goals in the 70th and 83rd minutes of the match and led the match.

Chitaranjan and Ajitkumar scored the two goals respectively.

As the referee was about to blow the final whistle, N Jasobanta of NACO scored the fourth goal in the 90+2 minute.
