Sadar Hills Super Division League JSYC hold Football Club Khanglai

Today’s first game of Pu K Hangshing Memorial Sadar Hills Super Division Football League tournament at Brig M Thomas ground between Leimakhong Bazar Youth Club (LBYC) and Football Club Kangchup was put on hold due to a heated argument between the teams.
The referee board was compelled to put the match on hold as a heated argument arose in the second half when FC Kangchup struck a controversial goal in the 53rd minute.
The decision is still pending .
Before the controversial goal was struck, Leimakhong Bazar Youth Club led the game 1-0 .
The second match between FC Khanglai and JSYC ended in a 1-1 draw.
Seiginmang of JSYC who was lurking near the goal area made no mistake in converting a superb cross from the right flank beating the custodian of FC Khanglai in the 19th minute to open up for his team.
FC Khanglai also responded with few runs into the rival’s territory but failed.
The first-half ended 1-0 in favour of JSYC .
After the breather, Khanglai FC resorted to full attack in quest of the leveller.
Songpu of Khanglai soon found the gap in the rival’s defence line and was successful in restoring parity in the 50th minute .
The remaining minutes saw relentless attacks from both teams trying to break the deadlock but their defence lines did well to keep all possible threats at bay making it 1-1 till the final whistle .
Lunneihao and Boijo were yellow carded in the 51st and 62nd minute for unsporting behaviour .
Ninou FC will face KYU in the first match at 12.15 pm tomorrow while JSYC will take on FC Kangchup in the second match at 2.15 pm.
