10th Manipur State League: NEROCA FC, AIM register convincing wins

Imphal, October 08 2015: NEROCA, FC, Sangakpham and AIM, Khabam registered convincing wins against their respective opponents in the ongoing 10th Manipur State League 2015, sponsored by Khumukcham Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust, today at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.

In today's first match, NEROCA FC handed a crushing defeat to ZFC, Churachandpur by a margin of 5 goals to nil.

In today's one sided match, NEROCA FC took the lead after Ch Kishan scored a controversial goal in the 24th minute as the assistant referee 1 gave an offside.

However, referee declared a goal for NEROCA FC.

The first half ended with NEROCA FC taking a 1-0 lead against the Churachandpur team.

Minutes after the lemon break, a freak own goal from ZFC's Immanuel L Intaote in the 49th minute gave another goal to NEROCA FC.

NEROCA FC witnessed more goals pouring in from Ng Ronald, Th Johnson and Emeka Christian in the 58th, 73rd and 84th minute respectively making the final scoreline 5-0 against a hapless ZFC.

Akbar Khan of NEROCA FC was the lone player who was booked during the match.

In another group match today, AIM, Khabam registered a comprehensive 3-0 win against USA, Khurai.

The winning goals of AIM were scored by L Dewan, Th Santosh and N Pritam in the 17th, 27th and 71st minute respectively.

Th Santosh of AIM was cautioned during the match.

Tomorrow, FC Zalen, Sadar Hills will meet NISA, Thangmeiband at 12.30 pm while MPSC will meet NACO, Nambul Mapal at 2.30 pm.
