Churachandpur, September 08 2021: An intending candidate of 59-Saikot AC, Dr George T Haokip on Wednesday inaugurated a 7 aside Football Tournament and 'One Day Seminar' at Monnaphai playground in Dampi area of Churachandpur district.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr George said that Saikot AC is one of the most neglected constituencies in the State while adding that the situation would however be different after the 2022 Assembly Election if he gets the mandate of the people.

"Various development projects will be launched.

Communication and transportation will be prioritized.

Saikot Guest House will come to Imphal to offer free accommodation for people who visit the capital for medical emergencies and other purposes", he said.

"There will be no place for money power and muscle power as the majority wanted to see change", he asserted.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by Lalkhomang Serto, president KOMREM Union; Tongkhojang Haokip, chief of Maojang; leaders of Komrem Students Union, Kuki Student Organisation (KSO) Samulamlan Block and the area chiefs.
