N Kayisii kicks off CKYSO sports meet

Senapati, January 08 2021: The 28th annual sports meet of Chakha & Khazam Youth & Students Organizations (CKYSO) kick-started on January 5 under the theme 'Carpe Diem' in the presence of Tadubi AC MLA, N Kayisii and his wife.

In his speech, the former TD & Hills Minister stated that "sports is the king of profession" where a person enjoys physical fitness, earn fame as well as wealth.

Encouraging that such activities should continue to promote unity & fitness, the MLA asked youth and students to keep their body fit by staying away from alcohol, tobacco, smoking and other intoxicants.

The MLA also assured that will visit all the far flung areas/villages under his Constituency to look after the needs and grievances of the people.

Adahrii Maheo, SDO/ADM Senapati graced the inaugural function as president; Dr Gan Rongmei, Medical Officer (MO) Khazam as chief patron among others.

According to villagers, in spite of far distance from DHQs, N Kayisii is the only MLA whom Chakha and Khazam villages get to witness inspecting all the Governmental projects by himself.

The CKYSO profoundly thanked the local MLA for keeping his words and bringing development in the area.
