35th Men's State Polo tourney : SAN-A, Nagamapal Youth Polo Club and Paradise Polo Club gallop into next round

Imphal, January 08 2019: SAN-A, Nagamapal Youth Polo Club and Paradise Polo Club emerged victorious in yesterday's matches of the 35th Men's State Level Polo Tournament 2018-19 being organised by All Manipur Polo Association at Mapal Kangjeibung.

The first match of the day saw SAN-A clinch an emphatic 7-2 victory against Tentha Polo Club.

H Chalamba, T Rishikanta and K Rishikanta scored on goal each in the first chukker to hand SAN-A a 3-0 lead while K Rishikanta and T Rishikanta scored 2 goals and 1 goal respectively to extend the lead to 6-0.The third chukker saw As Tentha side pulled off a goal to make it 6-1 .

H Chalamba scored the last goal for SAN-A in the last chukker while S Palada of Tentha Pok) Club made another to make it 7-2 in favour of SAN-A at me end.

The second match was a very one sided one as Nagamapal Youth Polo Club overran Ibudhou Marjing Khubam Kanba Lup 12-0 .

Moirangthem Chaoba made the most of the score chipping in 6 goals alone while Dollar Soram and Laishram Rohit struck twice each.

Oinam Chinglensana and Laishram Netrajit also added one goal each for the winning side and helped complete the 12-0 demolition of Ibudhou Marjing Khubam Kanba Lup.

Elsewhere in the last match, Paradise Polo Club romped to a 6-0 win against Kangleipak Polo Club, thanks to goals by (A Ranjan-2, N Phillip-2 and K Samananda-2) .
