Imphal West 2nd Division League concludes NCC emerge league champion

Imphal, October 05 2015: NCC, Khongampat emerged the league champion of the 5th Kangjam Karnajit Singh Memorial 2nd Division League, organised by the Imphal West District Football Association (IWDFA), today at Malom Tulihal, Terakha Makha Ground.

League champion NCC, Khongampat secured 9 points to top the table and now are promoted to participate in the Imphal West First Division League, 2016 .

In today's match, NCC, Khongampat claimed a convincing 4-1 win against MTSU, Malom.

The winning goals of NCC were scored by N Suresh (2nd, 21st) and Julian Keishing (33rd, 56th) .

On the other side, M Sunder found the solitary goal of scorer of MTSU in the 72nd minute.

In the least league match today, SCK, Kodompokpi edged out TDC, Mayanglangjing by a margin of 1 goal to nil.

The lone winning goal of SCK was scored by Y Helen in the 60th minute.

SCK's Y Dinachandra, A Birjit and Y Hemjit and Ksh Sushil of YDC were cautioned for un-sporting behaviour during the match.
