10th Manipur State League FC Zalen down ZFC 4-2, AIM stun NISA 3-1

FC Zalen, Sadar Hills and AIM, Khabam advanced after defeating their respective opponents in ongoing 10th Manipur State League 2015, sponsored by Khumukcham Ingocha Singh Memorial Trust, today at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.
In the first match today, FC Zalen, Sadar Hills registered a comfortable 4-2 victory against 10-men ZFC, Churachandpur.
It today's thrilling match, a large number of spectators who turned up for the match witnessed Hangminlien walking off the field after he was red carded by the referee.

Hangminlien was sent off in the 22nd minute after his hand came in contact with the ball while trying to defend a strike from Zalen striker Seikhohao Tuboi.
In return, a penalty kick was awarded to FC Zalen.
Patrick Kamei did not lose the opportunity and converted the penalty in the 23rd minute helping his side take a 1-0 lead.
Minutes later, S Boilal hit an own freak goal in the 36th minute after he failed to clear the ball which came through Lelminthang of ZFC.
The first half ended with one goal each for both teams.
Soon after the breather, the Zalen team took the lead after Patrick Kamei converted a freekick in the 52nd minute.
Minutes later, Seikhohao Tuboi of FC Zalen added another goal in the 75th minute through a defence splitting pass from Paokhongam.
On the other hand, ZFC managed to pull back a goal after S Henry converted a penalty in the 83rd minute making the scoreline 2-3 against the Zalen team.The ZFC players fought back hard to come back into the match with a series of attacks but all their efforts went in vain after a penalty kick was awarded to their opponent.
Patrick Kamei found his mark in the additional 91st minute to seal the match 4-2 in favour of FC Zalen.
FC Zalen's Patrick Kamei and Seikhohao Tuboi and ZFC's S Henry Gangte, Immanuel Intaote and their custodian Thangzalkhun Haokip were yellow carded during the match.
In another group match today, AIM, Khabam stunned NISA, Thangmeiband by a margin of 3 goals to one.
The winning goals of AIM were scored by N Pritam Singh, Th Vandona and O Millan in the 32nd, 45th and 71st minute respectively while the solitary goal of NISA was scored by Kh Naoton in the 60th minute through a penalty kick.
AIMS' Suresh Rai, L Manitombi and L Lamyanba Meitei were cautioned during the match.
