Imphal, August 04 2024: Moirangthem Yaiphaba and Athokpam Lanchenba were crowned senior and junior bodybuilding champions in the 8th Mr Thoubal District Bodybuilding Contest as Nepram Daneshwor sealed the men's sports physique title.

The district level bodybuilding event was organised by Body Builders Association of Thoubal in collaboration with Bishnunaha Youth Federation, Yairipok (Oriental Gym) under the theme - Break the habit, live a drug free life through bodybuilding, at Yairipok Bishnunaha community hall today.

As many as 19 athletes from 13 different gyms or units participated in the contest organised under the supervision of All Manipur Body Builders Association.

A Lanchenba of The Khelen Gym Fitness Centre, Thoubal emerged on top of the junior bodybuilding contest as Moirangthem Yaiphaba of Muscle Factory, Kakching finished second and Yangamba Thoithoiba of Radiant Alpha Fitness, Konung Mamang finished third.

Leshangthem Jack of 2 More Gym Fitness, Leishangthem and Waikhom Maheshwor of The Sky Fitness Centre, thoubal finished fourth and fifth in the same competition.

Meanwhile in the senior men's bodybuilding competition, Moirangthem Yaiphaba of Muscle Factory secured the pole position and the Mr Thoubal title as Ningthoujam Malemnganba of RCC Bodybuilding, Khuman Lampak and Maibam Bharatsemba of Longjam Fitness, Thoubal Athokpam secured second and third places.

Finishing fifth in the competition was Maibam Prakash of RFA, Thoubal as Nongmaithem Prem of Hulk Fitness, Langthabal Khongjom finished fourth and fifth.

In the men's sports physique competition, Leimapokpam Abhishek of Sajel Culture Uniex finished on top as Moirangthem Chalamba of Salai Fitness Gym, Wangjing Lamding and Phuritsbam Jayenta of Oriental Gym and Fitness Centre, Yairipok finished second and third.

Karoon Saikhom of Longjam Fitness and Nepram Daneshwor in the meantime finished fourth and fifth.

Naorem Jayenta of RFA, Thoubal in the meantime sealed the physically challenged title.
