Imphal, February 03 2022: THAU-B (W) beat PTCC (W) by 5 wickets today at the ongoing 1st MNCA Women's One Day Trophy, 2021-22 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Stadium.

Winning the toss and opting to field first, THAU-B (W)'s Thoithoibi Ahongshangbam took a hat trick to limit PTCC (W) to just 101 runs in 25 overs with a fall of 6 wickets.

Priyanshee Hanglem (1 wicket) and Chonghoihvak (2 wickets) were the other bowlers who aided THAU-B in the 1st innings.

The opening batting line-up was broken early on by PTCC (W) bowlers with the first three failing to add runs to account for THAU-B.Shelina Chanu's 41 off 61 balls and Niruta Thoudam's 16 runs off 37 balls saved the game aided by 44 extras from the PTCC (W) bowlers.

The set target of 102 was achieved in just 21.3 overs and 5 wickets remaining.

Niruta Thoudam of THAU-B won the woman of the match award.
