State Invitation Boxing Championship: S Robinson claims sub-jr boys' 61 kg title

Shagolshem Robinson earned the 61 kg title for sub-junior boys' (2006-2007) category as he downed Sharungbam Dayananda in the final today at the 1st Manipur State Invitation Boxing Championship 2020 organised by Manipur Amateur Boxing Association at Boxing Ring Khuman Lampak.
Leivon Bilat Kom won the sub-junior boy's (2006-2007) 49 kg gold by beating Laishram Dilipkumar Singh in the final while the 52 kg event gold medal went to Aribam Sakil who downed Sinam Allar Singh.
Thokchom Bishwamitra was able to win the 55 kg gold medal of the same age group while Thokchom Dhananjoy bagged the 58 kg event gold medal.
Junior Boys (2004-2005)
Biso Roungkhotinsan Koireng was able to win the 46 kg gold medal for junior boys' 2004-2005 age group as he beat Thokchom Lenjaoba Singh in the final today.
Irungbam Malemnganba then bagged the 48 kg event gold by beating H Nilakanta in the final bout before Ningthoujam Somananda claimed the 50 kg event gold by beating L Lamnganba.
Mayengbam Kishan, Yengkhom Henary and Konjengbam Roshan respectively bagged the 52 kg, 54 kg and 57 kg event gold medals before Thongam Leninson laid his hand on the 60 kg event gold medal by getting better of Chinglemba Moirangthem in the final.
Latter Leimapokpam Kaminikumar Singh beat Ahanthem Tulasbot to clinch the 63 kg event gold while Mayengbam Neeland Meetei downed Naorem Ranjan for the 66 kg crown.
Leimapokpam Rahul then fetched the 70 kg title by beating Konsam Nongshaba in the final.
Youth and Elite Men
In the youth and elite men's 49 kg category final, Md Nijamudin came out on top of Hawajam Bonel to earn the top honour while Heikrujam Bhimjit took the 52 kg crown beating Sanjram Suresh in the final.
Nameirakpam Priyobarta then won the 56 kg gold medal beating M Thoiba and Boychard Baite clinched the 60 kg event gold medal beating Kamlinthang Kipgen.
Myson Moirangthem bagged the 64 kg title beating N Khambaton while the 69 kg event gold medal went to Ningthoujam Boinao who beat Angouton Nongmaithem.
Khoinaijam Sanamacha then claimed the 75 kg event gold medal as Rahul Thapa bagged the 81 kg event title and Naval Kishor downed Moirangthem Ichikhunba for the 91 kg crown.
Junior Girls (2004-2005)
Melody Kilong fetched the junior girls' (2004-2005) 63 kg title after beating Ksh Silky Devi today in the final.
Youth and Elite Women (1980-2003)
In the youth and elite women's 51 kg final, Sanathoi Hemam got the better of Maishnam Ichan Devi while M Samim Banu took the 54 kg crown beating Maibam Rosemary in the final.
Boichong Hangshing beat RS Alicia for the 57 kg title of the same age group as Sonia Bomjan came out on top of Thounaojam Ojibala in the 60 kg final before Thokchom Sanamacha claimed the 75 kg title by beating Kolom Bidyaluxmi in the final.
