Gift Raikhan clears AFC-A license course

Gift Raikhan who is the current assistant coach of Pune FC, has cleared the AFC-A certificate course organised by All India Football Fedeartion held from May 5 to 30 at Madgaon, Goa.
Born in 1981 at Senapati District, Gift Raikhan is the second child of Surrender Raikhan and Pheomila Raikhan.
From an early age, football was a major part of Gift Raikhan.
He started playing football in various State teams, later moved to NISA and got runnerup position in the CC Meet 1993-94 edition.
Also he was among the National squad for under-21 football held at Goa.
Apart from the state teams, he played for Bengal and Mumbai football clubs in Division I-League during 1999 to 2000, later he joined Churchil Bothers and participated in ILeague.
After Churchill Brothers, he later moved to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore football team (2003-05) .
In the following year, he won the All India Kashmir Gold Cup.
Later he joined Pune football club (2007-08) and played in Second Division I-League.
After stepping down from playing, Gift Raikhan began his coach's profession since 2009 and cleared the AFC-C certificate course in the said year at Guwahati.
Later, he cleared AFC-B certificate course held at Aizawl, Mizoram in 2013 .
In his managerial career, Gift Raikhan became the head coach of under-15 Pune FC (2008-09), head coach of under-17 Pune FC (2009-11), head coach of under-19 Pune FC (2011-12) and became a senior assistant coach of Pune FC in 2013 .
