Imphal, August 31 2011: TRUGPU, Nambol coasted to a 3-1 victory over YWC, Thambalkhong to registered its second win in three matches in the 6th Manipur State League football tournament at Khuman Lampak Main stadium today.

While G Anthony Kabui's goal in the ninth minute from a Th Premkumar remained unchanged till the half time, the opening goal provider increased the lead in the 50th minute and Kh Samananda virtually sealed the victory for the Nambol two minutes from end of normal period.

M Aboy scored the YWC consolation goal in the second minute of injury time.

While TRUGPU lost its campaign opener to NISA at 4-0 and defeated YDO 3-0, YWC's defeat was the second of the competition having suffered 1-3 loss to NEROCA and upsetting MPSC 2-1 .

Bishnupur: In the Dangmei Majabi Memorial Super Division football league tournament played today at Mini stadium, Bishnupur Leimapokpam side KYVO crushed YSWA, Utlou 3-0 with L Indrajit (68th, 71st) and E Amitkumar (75th) scoring for the winners.
