Manipur emerge champions of 13th Senior National Futsal Championship 2021, MANISFA greets

Imphal, December 31 2021: Manipur were crowned champions of the 13th Senior National Futsal Championship 2021 yesterday after beating Meghalaya 7-2 in the ultimate clash.

Arshad scored four goals in Manipur's huge win at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, said the Manipur Soccer Futsal Association (MANISFA) in a release.

Other goals were scored by Th Meiraba (1) and Y Simon (2), it said while adding that hero of the final match Md Arshad scored as many as 22 goals to bag the top scorer's trophy.

MANISFA president, Yambem Arun Meetei who is also the vice president of Indian Soccer Futsal Federation extended heartiest congratulations to the State team on becoming the champions of the championship held from December 28-30 and wished them to achieve more in the future, it said.

Arun also thanked all the supporters, association's executive committee, technical team, district associations, parents etc., it added.
