TYCM extends Chagah, Kut greetings

Imphal, October 30 2012: Tribal Youth Council, Manipur (TYCM) has greeted the people on the occasion of "Chagah Frestival", which is believed to be a "War Festival" celebrated by Zelianrong especially by Liangmais showcasing its colorful culture & male folklores sanctification.

In a statement, Information and Publicity Secretary of TYCM Paichungliu Kamei has conveyed its best wishes for KUT 2012 to all the tribes belonging to Chin-Kuki-Mizo (CHIKIM) .

TYCM observed that festivals and get togethers are sign of unity and victory for tribals and exhorted all to keep the faith of "Zeliangrong Ringtelou" & "Kut Chebai" .
