Imphal, September 29 2023: As conducted every year by titular king Sanajaoba Leishemba on the full moon day of Manipuri lunar month 'Langban', Angom ningthou Angom Poireiton under the instruction of Sanajaoba performed Langban Heishoi Katpa to appease the spirit of departed ancestors on Friday.

In a release, Uttra Shanglen Sana Konung informed that the ritual was attended by Ningthou Pongba, Amaiba, Amaibi, Pena Loishang, Phamnaiba Loishang macha, Phamnaiba Lolpo and Sala Pala and paid tributes to the ancestors and all the martyrs.
