AAMSU decries

The All Assam Manipuri Students' Union (AAMSU) has decried the recent police excesses to the agitating students while demanding implementation of ILP system in the State of Manipur.
This was stated by Seram Herajit Singh, President of AAMSU in a press meet held today at Jiribam office of Manipur Chronicle.
Pangambam Nilkanta Singh was also present during the press meet.
Herajit said that the police action to the students is condemned in strongest manner and at the same time demanded to the Government of Manipur to make legislation so as to implement ILP System in Manipur.
He mentioned the survival of the people of Manipur has now become serious threat as the outsiders will soon outnumber them for which the Government should ponder a lot.
Nilkanta expressed that there is fragile situation at the porous international boundary which makes illegal influx of migrants in the State.
In order to check this situation, ILP system should be implemented in the State, he demanded; and further appealed the Government of Manipur to do something in line with demand of the indigenous people of Manipur.
